As of May 30, 2025, Cyclone Shakti has formed over the Bay of Bengal and is impacting parts of Bangladesh, including Chattogram. The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has reported that the cyclone is bringing heavy rainfall, strong winds, and potential coastal flooding to the region.
