Description : The Sadarghat Launch Terminal, on the bank of Buriganga, is the busiest river port in Bangladesh with hundreds of launches arriving and departing everyday. Due to lack of railway and road communication system between Dhaka and most parts of southern region, people of that part depend heavily on the river route through this terminal for ferrying.
