Description : Hundreds of families live in boathouses on the bank of the Shitalakhya River just under Tongi bridge on the outskirts of Dhaka city. These little dingy boats house as many as 6-8 people. They do everything including sleeping, washing, bathing and cooking in these tiny boat houses. Quality of water however is extremely poor.
