Description : Peer educators Dipu and Shujon, who are HIV positive, distribute condoms, arrange for testing and talk of safe sex but in a relaxed way ? many of them are fun loving dancers who are trusted by the groups they work with. Bondhu, Dhaka, Bangladesh. ?Bandhu? is the Bengali word for friend: the Bandhu peer educators work at sharing information about HIV and AIDS. They visit the areas which men who have sex with men, MSM, frequent and since taboos prevent discussions of sexuality, talk to those groups marginalized by attitudes and stigma. The sex workers in Dhaka also have peer educators who distribute condoms and give advice.
